Tie Dye instructions

Getting started with your tie dye project

Step 1: Choose your paint pattern, roll the shirt according to the instructions and attach the rubber bands.

Step 2: Fill the bottles with water. Tip: for light pastel colours, take some pigment out of the bottle for less bright colours. Shake the bottles well.

Step 3: Use the colours to fill in the T-shirt until you can no longer see any white.

Step 4: Wrap your creation in plastic foil and leave to rest for 6 to 8 hours.

Step 5: Moment of truth! Remove the foil and the rubber bands. Rinse out the good shirt and throw it in the washing machine and let it air dry.

Step 6: Time to parade around in your handmade tie dye t-shirt!
