The Heat Embossing Starter Kit contains everything you need to get started quickly: an embossing pen, a heat gun and three colours of embossing powder. Very easy to use and a lot of fun!

Hold the embossing heat gun at a distance of 5-6 cm from your creation and maintain an angle of approximately 45 degrees until the powder has warmed up.

What is embossing?

Embossing is a fun, simple technique for adding drawings or festive lettering to paper or cardboard surfaces. For an embossing project, you need three things: an embossing pen, like the one above, embossing powder and a heat gun.

How does the heat gun work?

• You plug the heat gun into the wall socket so that it can heat up.
• In the meantime, you can start drawing or writing with the embossing pen.
• The invisible liquid ink that you leave behind can then be covered with embossing powder.
• Any excess powder should be shaken off (tip: do this on another clean sheet!). This can be formed into a funnel and the powder can be shaken back into the box).
• Next, take out your heat gun to heat the powder and make it melt.
• Be careful not to heat it too long, or the powder will start to scorch.
• Are you ready? Then all you have to do is let your project cool down for 30 seconds.
