HTV Sheets for printing on textiles

If you’re getting started with the Mini Heat Press, you’ll need vinyl. This material, also known as HTV (Heat Transfer Vinyl), is the ink you use to apply your design to textiles.

These HTV sheets are easy to cut or trim. They are suitable for various types of material, such as textiles, leather, cotton and denim. Cut out a design, place it under the heat press and position it on the surface you wish to print on. Wait around 10 to 15 seconds and you’ll have a lovely personalised garment!

How the Mini Heat Press works

Set the temperature. The Mini Heat Press has 3 heat settings for different surfaces
Allow the heat press to preheat
Make sure the surface you want to print on is free of creases and folds
Place your design on the surface you want to print on. Make sure the ink side is facing down
Press the heat press onto your design for 10 to 15 seconds
Allow your design to cool and admire the result

Vinyl on fabric

This pack contains 5 HTV sheets in your chosen colour. There are a few things to bear in mind when working with this material.

Once you’ve printed something, it’s best to wait 24 hours before wearing, using or washing it. This ensures optimal ‘lifespan’.
The design will then last for over 50 washes!
So you can put a garment in the washing machine, but it’s best not to put it in the tumble dryer.
Be careful when ironing: always turn the garment inside out first and only iron the back of an HTV decoration. If you do this, you can enjoy your unique clothing or other textile projects for as long as possible!
