Step-by-step plan: start with the Wire Jig:

1. The arrangement of the pins on the board is indicated by a letter (horizontal) and a number (vertical).
2. The colour of the numbers indicates which pin you need. White is your starter pin, red an optional pin for paperclips and grey is a regular pin.
3. All designs in the manual have an advised length of thread. Grey is the length for the project and red is the length for when you want to make a paperclip.
4. Choose a design from the instructions and place the pins on the board as indicated in the design. Use the starter pin as a starting point and thread through the groove.
5. Bend the wire around the pins as shown.
6. When you are finished, carefully lift the design off the board.
7. To remove the pins from the board: turn the board over and use a pin to push the stuck pins out of the board.
