Product description: Epoxy DIY Kit - Jewellery and Gem Making
Whether you are making jewellery for yourself, for your own shop or as a gift for someone, anything is possible with epoxy. You make the stones entirely to your own taste. Whether you use the colours provided or not, let your creativity run wild.
Make your own unique jewellery with epoxy
The possibilities are endless! Add your personal touch to jewellery and make it completely according to your own wishes. Pimp your epoxy stones with fun glitter, photos, flowers or other fun accessories. First pour a thin layer of epoxy into the mould, then put your accessory (e.g. a photo or flower) on top and fill the mould completely with the epoxy.
What is epoxy?
In epoxy, two components, resin and hardener, are mixed together. This creates a strong material that can be used for various purposes. It is even used to make floors, tables, jewellery or sculptures or, in this case, beautiful jewellery.
How to work with Crafts&Co Epoxy
With this starter kit, crafting with Epoxy is super simple and the instructions will get you started step by step!
Step 1: Preparation
Make sure you have all your supplies ready before you start. Think epoxy resin, colours, glitter and other accessories. Then you won't have to search for parts while crafting while the epoxy is already drying.
Tip: use baking paper as a 'placemat'. You can easily throw this away after you are done and this way you can avoid spilling epoxy on your nice table or workspace.
Step 2: Mixing
Mix the Epoxy resin together with the Epoxy hardener according to the instructions provided, and choose whether you want any colours / glitters already mixed in.
Step 3: Pouring
Pour the mixture into the mould and let your creativity run wild. Use a skewer and go through the mixture with it and see the result.
Step 4: Hardening and finishing
Let your jewellery harden for 24-48 hours and then remove it from the mould. Admire your new jewellery stones! Afterwards, thread them onto a necklace, earrings or keychain and viola your unique jewellery is ready to shine.
