How do you get started with textile paint?

1. Protect your work surface by covering it with a plastic sheet and put on plastic gloves.
2. Place a placemat or piece of cardboard between the layers of fabric to prevent leakage.
3. Choose a stencil and place your choice on the fabric.
4. Stick the stencil to the fabric with tape. If necessary, cover the surrounding fabric to prevent stains.
5. Apply a thin layer of paint using the palette knife provided.
6. Spread one direction over the stencil.
7. Repeat if necessary until the selected shapes are well covered.
8. Remove the stencil in one smooth movement.
9. Wash all materials immediately after use with warm water and soap.
10. Allow the paint to dry for at least 30 minutes before touching the fabric.
11. Wait 24 hours before washing the fabric.
12. Ta, ta, ta! Admire your creation!
